Studio Policies

 

 

Tuition: Discounts are given to students taking 2 or more classes.
Please call the studio for Tuition rates.

 

Pay the year in full by the 1st class and receive a 10% Discount.

 

Tuition Policy: Tuition can be paid by cash, check or charge.  We accept  Visa, Mastercard and Discover.   Tuition is based on a ten month period (Sept-June). All holidays have been taken into consideration. No refunds or adjustments will be made for school closings, sickness, or excused absences.

 

Late Fee: A late fee of $15 will automatically be added to all payments that are not made by the 7th of the month. No exceptions. The late fee also applies to costume deposits and balances.  Bills are only generated if payments are past due or as a reminder for additional payments that will be due on your account. There will be a $25.00 fee for all returned checks.

 

Refund Policy: All Registration Fees, Tuition, Costume Deposits, Balances etc…are non Refundable. Unused Merchandise can only be returned with a receipt in exchange for studio credit ONLY.

 

Class Adjustments: Classes with 5 or less students are subject to cancellation or shortening of the class to 45 mins.

 

Attendance: Punctual, consistent attendance & proper dance attire is expected of all LDFS students. NO REFUNDS or credits will be given for missed classes or school closings. Please notify the studio if your child will be late or absent.

 

Make-up Classes: Make-ups due to absence, illness, or Religious Holiday should be taken within three weeks of the missed class(s). Make-up classes must be scheduled with the front desk.  Please check with your instructor or Director for recommendations.

 

Studio Closings 2023-2024: Laura’s Dance & Fitness Studio most closely follows the Huntington Union Free School District.

 

Photo Release:  Laura’s Dance & Fitness Studio reserves the right to use photos of the students for brochures, advertisements, website and other promotional materials. Please speak to the Director if you have any concerns.

 

LDFS reserves the right to alter or cancel a class at anytime and is not responsible for loss of personal property or injuries that may occur on the premises or at any LDFS event.

 

Snow Days: The studio will usually close in accordance with the school district regarding snow days, early dismissal and after school activity cancellation due to weather. Please call the studio for confirmation. Makeup for these classes may be taken anytime before a recital. There are no refunds or transfer of money once it has been paid.
